I already had Blackhole, but now I have two versions (I think) and I had bought all the Eventide iOS plugins, as they were very cheap, and this is where it's going to be an issue. I now have about 10 Eventide plugins on my Mac. It seems with the opt-out hack, you can now install all of the Eventide AUs from IOS on the Mac.

Note: Well there's now an unrelated problem with this IOS stuff. It's there but there's a red warning icon in the slot. Update, after a reboot TH-U doesn't work in Mac Garageband as a Plugin. This is a bit weird as I thought Garageband and Logic used the same scanner.

On further testing, the TH-U iOS plugin seems to work in Mac Garageband, after crashing, but it's not passing the Logic plugin manager, so not in Logic. Obviously, they are somewhere.ītw, the TH-U plugin crashed the Mac when Garageband was scanning AUs the first time, And it was causing some issue in Cubasis, so it may not be stable. They don't seem to be be in the Library plug-in components or VSTs or the USER Libray plugins. These will show up as Plugins in the Mac Garageband (probably the iOS Garageband also).īut I can't find them on the Mac. It seems when you install certain iOS apps on the M1, some of them install AUs along with the app.
